BIM

What is BIM – in Portuguese, Building Information Modeling – is the new concept when it comes to construction design. Unlike the traditional 2D drawing, a mere flat representation of what will be built, BIM modeling works with 3D models that are easier to understand and more faithful to the final product. The system supports the project throughout its phases, allowing for better analysis and control compared to manual processes.

With a BIM project, the structure can be virtually prototyped. The client and the architect can understand and review the project more easily, which helps ensure its accuracy and integrity, as well as visualize and evaluate alternatives in terms of cost and other project parameters.

Architectural project in BIM 3D – our office uses BIM tools at the 3D level for modeling and documentation. In this way, the projects from the different disciplines are intelligent and developed in digital models, making it easier for the client to understand the design intentions, as well as enabling precise studies and analysis of the constraints.

Advantages

Through the use of the BIM 3D system, our clients can follow the design process across its different stages in digital models, enabling analysis and modifications throughout the process.

BIM App

Through it, the client can easily access their project on smartphones, tablets, or computers. The app provides access to all technical drawings, the digital model, and the data developed up to that stage.

VR Headset

With the use of BIM tools, we enable clients to take a virtual tour of their project using, in our office, a Virtual Reality headset (Oculus Rift VR), or via the app on their personal smartphone.
